so my old system got stolen on Easter morning . I'm looking to upgrade my system while I have the reason to ahah. Was wondering if anyone have heard the Boston spg555's in person. SQ or SPL? I'm planning to running it with a RF t1500.1db. All the audio shops say that the SPG555 will blow the W7 out of the water, but none of them had any SPG's hooked up. Any experience/advice appreciated.

 

The SPG555 is a VERY LOUD sub. It's definitely SPL over SQ. I've heard it in person in a truck at a local shop, and having owned a 12 W7 in the past, I can guarantee that the Boston sub is MUCH louder.
