Speakers and Distortion Free

I have 06 TSX with navigation, and I want to replace front & Back Door Speaker, and rear deck speakers... I want to figure out what size goes to rear door...
also, the distortion free system does not play loud... how does it work? if i replace speakers, will "distortion free" system go away?
should i add amp. for aftermarket speakers?.... i chose speaker with 10-110 RMS

What do you mean by "distortion free system"?

The door speakers at 6.5inch. Do you have an aftermarket speaker in mind? You should search for threads on "TSX speaker upgrade" or "speaker replacement". Also, check out the FAQ section, good info there. And, I'm with phipark, what do you mean by "distortion free system"?

I was trying to figure out "distortion free" since I was unaware of any special sound processing in our systems. from google I tracked down the phrase on the Acura site. It is just a descriptor in a line of sales copy on the TSX audio system. in my experience with CD source it was hard to majorly distort the stock speakers. sounds decent. just not great. of course at 30 its going to sound like crap.

but note that most speaker upgrades will be better quality but will likely be less loud than stock. so if you want louder and better quality you need to add an amp. use search, it's already been discussed and recommendations. unlike speed upgrades, sound is very subjective.

Speakers do not cause distortion unless driven with power that is way beyond their means....bad amps are the source of most distortion. Clean power is the key.
