TL: speakers for 99tl

speakers for 99tl

just replaced factory deck w/ aftrmarket and wondering whether to replace bose speakers with pioneer..can i make 6.5 speakers fit the factory space provided or should i stay with bose. they still sound good but their 13yrs old. will use te thread to also reconnect the bose sub...may change that to a 10" pioneer sub...serious about my sound but not tryin to blast the block..just want cabin sounding crisp ,clear with the thump-thump...any advice

the stock bose speakers are junk - 1st thing I replaced when I got the car nearly 9 years ago
take them out and sell them on Ebay for $50 like I did
yes any 6.5 inch speaker will fit with a little modification depending on the speaker depth. something 2.5 inches or less will be easy, just need a small spacer

take out the stock "sub" and put in a nice 8 or 10 inch with a box and about 200 watts and you will be happy.

1. AMP YOUR SPEAKERS
2. DITCH BOSE
