Anybody come up with a good way to get new speaker wire into the doors of a 99 CL. I just havnt been able to come up with a good way and i couldnt get wire through the stock location.

Also is there a crossover stock in our cars for the front speakers? I was thinking I could just splice into where the wire is before it goes into the door and use that to get to the door speaker.

There are no crossovers, the front channels are just spliced together into 1 wire

I was able to run 12 gauge wires through my doors btw

 

Take the boot completely off so you can squeeze it together making it shorter, tape your wire to a long straight poking tool and slowly push it threw

 

The boot snaps back on instantly if you first spray its contract area with wd-40. Otherwise, you're in for a cursing exercise.

And don't forget to spray your fishing wire apparatus with lots of wd-40....and inside the boot too.
