Guys Im looking to put some new speakers in my beater and I know nothing about car audio. My accord has 6.5 fronts and 6x9 rear.

I was thinking of putting in some MB Quart RCE 216's and RCE 269's and push it with an amp at 75wx4@4ohms.

My second choice speakers would be some polk mmc6500 and some infinity 6x9s and push it with the same amp.

I have an Eclipse 8455 head unit

Any suggestions would be great.

: ) I used a 75W x 4 amp in my car to run a similar system.

The 269's are a good bet but I'd run them as woofers only (wait, I DO run them as woofers only - I boght them for my car: ) .

For the fronts, I'd go with something with a soft dome tweeter. Do you need to go coaxial or do you want a separate tweeter?
