What are you installing these in? What is your budget & what do you plan on doing to your system?

2003 TL, I really dont have a budget I am just kind of getting things little by little. But I really dont want to spend more than 300 on speakers. I already have 2 JL 10w3v2 and an alpine cda-9830.

those speakers aren't bad, but are you focusing on SQ or SPL? I would suggest you jettison the rear speakers and get soem better ones up front

It WAS a holiday frigging weekend... : ) some of us were on nice leisurely TSX tours of Washington State's Yakima Valley, visiting wineries.

Those are OK speakers, probably the last German made MBQs ever since they have gone out of business and Rockford will be using the brand on Chinese-made speakers.

I am a big proponent of putting as good a speaker in front as you can afford and no rears (when you have a sub).

In that budget range I would suggest a set of DLS (Magnesium MS5?) or the a/d/s/ 245ix.
