I changed out the speakers of my 06 TSX with infinity refrence speakers 6012i 6010cs and 6096i and the sound is incredible and if you get them off ebay you can keep it pretty cheap

These have cloth surrounds so they won't last too long. Is your budget limited to $50?

I wouldn't waste my time with those.

Go with component speakers that use a crossover. If you have a Discover card you can redeem your bonus points and double your bonus for a gift card to Crutchfield. [Also you get 5% off this month].

The TSX OEM amp does NOT like crossovers much in my experience.

My Alpine Type-S's are coming in today - can't wait to install them!!! I've seen heard good things about them from the forum and I went to Best Buy and listened to them and they sounded good. I'm replacing all four door speakers with the 6.5 coaxials and the two back 6x9s. I got all 6 speakers from a seller on amazon.com (discountjungle) for about 160 shipped! I was thinking about the Infiniti Kappa but I saved 50 bucks a pair getting the Alpines.

I had Alpine type S in the 6x9 flavour and didn't like them. They sounded kinda unnatural. Replaced with Eclipse 4-ways and much happier. They complement my DLS UP6 in the front much better.

here's a place for some Infinitys

pretty good place to shop for car audio

I just now got done installing my Alpine Type-S 6.5s and 6x9s and they sound great! I can blast it all the way and have no distortion whatsoever.
