Speaker Adapters
Hello ALL
I used these in my 2005 TSX to change out my 6.5's front and rear.
Great product!
Alot easier to center these than the Metra adapters.

Compared to a set of wood spacer rings those things are pretty flimsy. I'd suggest spending $35 on a jigsaw and $5 on a 3/4" birch plywood Handi-panel at Home Depot.
BTW, those ARE Metra adapters.

I wonder if people on this forum are able to cut MDF and have a garage like you do HMMM?
Because you sell car audio gear rite?
You can't keep it unless you give it away.

I guess that means I don't have to answer any of your PM requests for help anymore? Sweet!

i personally have a garage full of my sh*t, my wifes sh*t and my two stepdaughters sh*t; there is no way a car (not even a scion xa) could fit in there. i have a small table saw, some hand tools ( drill , jig saw etc.) and without cutting myself apart, i have built various cabinets for the house, sub boxes and yes, speaker adaptors. it isn't that hard, nor do you need that much experience or talent. just remember to measure twice, cut once. jps

So it would appear that both Sosche and Metra makes them. I got two sets from Circuit City a long while back and the bags say Metra. They look exactly the same! I do like the wood cutouts better though. They look much nicer. Doesn't really matter though. I'm just going to hire the local car audio expert in my area to do the entire car. Tweeters with fiberglass enclosures by the mirrors, subwoofer with fiberglass enclosure in the trunk, the works. I can't wait!!

Another way for a perfect circle (for those equipped with a wood shop) router out new speaker rings with a circle guide.
Im curious if my 8" Dynaudios will transfer into the TSX with new rings. They fit in the stock opening of a Civic with rings.
