I have purchased a Kenwood Sirius unit for my TSX. Soundgate makes an adapter KNTOY1 that can be used to plug in the AUX jack on my Non Navi. What functionality does one get with this unit with the factory radio CD/AUX jacks? In other words, what can I control with the KNTOY1 installed from the Radio buttons? I listen mostly to news/talk anyway, so if all I'm getting is a better sound only, the FM modulator is good enough for me. But if I can control the Kenwood tuner direct, then there would be some advantage.

The interface you want is the SNHOND3 not the KNTOY1. All it does is allow you to use RCA's to connect your Kenwood unit to the head unit without the use of an FM modulator. It does sound a lot better but if you're not concerned about sound quality than stick with the modulator and save yourself $100.
