...ummm you shouldnt have taken that plastic off, it is a moisture barrier. You may be ok, but I think it was there for a purpose. Other than that, putting dynamat on the doors is good and the front floor area are the main areas. I mean most of the noise is from wind and the road coming through the windows...glass isnt a sound reducing substance.

Dampen everything you can. Do both the front and rear doors, and the trunk area too, and if you can, do the floors, though I have heard they are very hard to do.

Visit the Dynamat site for more info. Dynamat is a good product however, you will be adding weight to the vehicle. Another solution is Quiet Car, this is a coating that is sprayed on to metal. Hope this helps you out.....

I prefer the spray on stuff 1. its cheaper because you can buy it in gallon buckets 2. it doesn't add alot of weight to the car. The problem with sound deadening, especially if you have big bass is, that you are almost never done deadening, unless you do the whole car from the beginning, "new" rattles will appear with time. I sell and install car stereos and I prefer the spray especially if weight is an issue. Hope that helps.
