snhond3 new wire colors

I recently purchaced an snhond3 from logjam as well as the accord cable with the intent to modify it to put an aux in into my 04 TSX. I followed mojos guide at http://www.chrishorne.com/gallery/SNHOND3 and ran into trouble where the spicing takes place. On my snhond3 cable I do not have brown or pink wire and am pretty sure the blue isn't the same one.

I was wondering if anyone who had one successfully modified could tell me which wires by place are the correct ones to hook into. On my cable the end that hooks into the acura stereo when viewed with the release clip up is wired like this:

xx---xoxx
ooxxx-xxx

Where x is wire, o is no wire, and - is no connect.

From left to right, top to bottom my colors read as
white/black, red, red/black, white, black/green
yellow, black, green, thin blue, thick blue

Thanks in advance.

If you go pin location by pin location instead of by color, then it works fine...

The SHOND3 and the Honda harness have the same plug at one end. Follow what wires are in what pin location.

So after being initally flustered about the wrong colors I had a beer and thought about it. I came to the same conclusion as elduderino suggested. So for anyone else who gets the new colors the matchup is:

Honda ----- Snhond --- new snhond
Grey ------- brown ------- black
orange ------- blue ------- yellow
metal ------- orange ------- red/black

Thanks for the quick response.

Now on to phase II - installation of nav unit from the group buy

I have never heard a blitzsafe in action so I can not compare sound quality. I opted for the snhond3 + adapter because there were reports of a "bad batch" of blitzsafes for '04s and I wanted this to work right away.
Either adapter will work with Doms unit. Which incedently I just finished hooking up, I am going to need a power filter for that though and then I just have to run the cables pretty and put the car back together.

If i wanted to add a cig lighter to the trunk what would be the easiest way of doing so? Do I need to run a line back there from the fuse box or is there something I can tap? It will be used to run a video source (xbox/DVD).

Why use a cig lighter? Just run a wire.

The "right" way is to run a fused wire from the ignition switch.

The power inverter that I currently have plugs straight in to a cig lighter. I suppose I could always lop that end off and hook it up straight. I am currently looking at how everyone ran power back there for an amp thinking that may be the best method.

From an auto electrical POV, that's the safe way to run power.
