I've searched this forum and some other threads around the net but can't seem to find an answer.

I want to install the SNHOND3 aux input mod and I want the wire to terminate inside either one of the center console trays (the ones above the red thing). In order to do this, will I need to drill a hole in the backs of these trays or is there already some sort of space I can squeeze the wires through?

I would open it up and look for myself but I am not picking up my car for another week or so.
