Sirius Hardwire

Wheres the best place to hardwire my sirius tuner and not get any groud loop noise??

I'm replacing my JVC PnP with a Starbase as well, I think i'm just gunna put it in the trunk and jumper power and grounds to the amp, like i did in my old car.

I removed the sunglass holder and installed my Sportster up there. It's still on the swivel base so I can face it towards me or other passengers and minimize glare. I ran the power down the left side of the windshield column (wired behind the fuze box) and audio down the right side to a Blitzsafe adapter. I've had no problems so far with noise and it's in a spot where everyone in the car has a good view of the screen.

Oh, yeah, my antenna is mounted on a bracket I made between the sunroof glass and sliding panel. I've tried it on the dash and rear deck but would always have the signal drop. It seems to work just as well as being mounted directly on the roof without having to put a hideous lump on my car.

The best place to wire it without any ground loops IMO is to use the OEM amp connections in the center console. That ground is pretty close to the OEM HU ground.

Hey...not to hijack the thread but
I see that two of the posters have the blitzsafe adapter and starbase. I just ordered the SNHOND piece from logjamelectronics. Is this going to work as well or should I have gotten the blitzsafe?

Also- where do others have their Sirius antenna? Mine is currently on the dash (right about the clock) and it fades a couple times/day but it sure as hell beats putting it on the exterior!
