Shock Sensor for factory alarm

Who makes a good shock sensor for the facory CL alarm? how much? thanks,

any shock sensor would do. Mine is a generic one (no brand on the housing) and it works great.

cost about 20-25 bucks and an hour of labor (at most)... you can look up the needed parts in NovaWhiteTypeS template since mine is down.

Basically, if hood, doors or trunk is open, a ground signal will be send the stock alarm's brain. If your system is armed, the alarm goes off . When triggered, the shock sensor creates a ground signal. I tapped this wire to stock hood's signal wire. When your alarm is armed and shock sensor is triggered, the alarm "thinks" the hood is opened, so it goes off.
