Seeking Audio Advice
Hi everyone,
I have an Navi '07 TSX, and I decided to get my baby some new vocal chords and singing lessons. I have some general knowledge about car audio, but I'm not quite a do-it-yourselfer. After browsing this forum and some of my own research I am contemplating installing this set-up:
Polk db5250 Components for front
Leave stock in rear doors (send some power from front crossovers for rear fill)
Disconnect deck 6x9's
Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 for trunk
JL Audio 300/4 (I read here somewhere that there are only a few amps compatible with the Alpine Deck, and this was one of them)
Dynamat on doors and trunk
I have a few questions though:
-Anyone have experience with the above products?
-I can bridge two of the channels in the 300/4 right? What will the power be going to the sub (sorry if a math question, I really don't know how to calculate this though)?
-Should I fiberglass or just buy a box for the Kappa?
-Dynamat is expensive, any other brands recommended?
Thank you very much for any advice.

no experience with your mentioned products, but ...
Check JL's website/manuals for bridged power specifications
View the following link for some Dynamat like products

I'm currently installing Raamat BXT, but since i'm not finished I can't say how much improvement there is.

Thanks for your reply and the links,
Depending on how much I spend on the other stuff, I am probably going to go with either one of the Damplifiers or the RAAM's (they seem like a pretty good value).
Also, I checked out JL's website, and I did not know that they had a 450/4 amp, which would push 300 watts rms (channels 1 and 2 bridged), and 75 to the components. It looks like it's going to be pretty expensive, what other amp brands have people installed and liked?
