WOw that loooks nice... how much was it, and did you do it yourself? if you did, can i get some instructions, b/c ive been lookin for a screen that would fit. also now that youve gotten the screen, what else you gunna add, because a dvd player, or ps2 would look pretty nice..

the screen was $175 on ebay. I have a ps2 under the rear part of the passenger seat like other people have posted on the forum. I did not do it my self a friend of mine did it for me. it is just a piece of bent sheet metal that we cut after making a paper pattern. it is then just bolted to the sheet metal. I will post a couple more pics soon.

wow, that looks tiight. my only suggestion would be to get like a cover or something to hide it, you know, like a piece that slides down over it when your not in the car or something, otherwise thats hot!

Thats a good idea but do you have any ideas on a way to make one cause I am at a lose on how you could make a cover that could slide up or down to cover it.

That's a really nice setup! Enjoy!
Does it look clear at that angle and location?

yes it is very clear from that angle and I just added a ground loop isolator to it to remove interference from video and audio and it does work.

I was thinking about doing the same thing if i didn't get the navi. To think, its gonna look even better once you get the surrounding panel totally done. (droool)

Take a wood block slightly larger then the opening and sand it to give the same arc as the cover that you removed.

I'd still go with the fiber glass.. and how im guessing you did the installation, etc. but how much would a installation like this be if one were to take it to the shop? im thinking about doing something similar, just dont wanna get ripped off for labor..

I do not know what it would cost if you went to a shop and had it done with sheet metal like that. I had mine done by a friend of mine. I am sure if you live in PA he would be happy to do it for a small fee compared to what a shop would charge.

Hi Mr: Is it easy to replace the shift knob?

I tried to twist it counter-clockwise, but doesn't come out.

Yes it's easy but there's a lock nut under the shift knob that you need a wrench to loosen before you can unscrew the knob.

i really like the legacy monitor the only problem is when it is really ssunny out its a little hard to see but i think some window tint will solve some of that. i am eventually planning on doing the headrest tvs also, but i am currently working on putting in a computer so i can play divx and use it for gps

I wish I could tell you what to expect for the install but I do not know cause I had my friend do it for free. I have no idea if a dvd player would be better, I do know it would fit better though cause obviously it is smaller. My next thing is I am putting a computer in my trunk and then running usb cable to the glove box for a external dvd drive.
