Running Wire....

I had my car apart this weekend replacing some suspension parts and I decided to run my wires for my system. I was just wondering what any of you did with running the power wire from the battery. I have my RCA's and such running through my center console and thinkin about runnin the power up the driver side doors. Where exactly did you put the hole in your fire wall?

I had my power wire run through the interior for awhile, and what I did was run it through the fender, then through the boot that covers the wires going into the door, and then into the cabin of the car, and on back to the trunk. If you're using anything bigger than 8awg, you can't really do this. What I'm doing now is running the wire underneath of the car. If you get some A/C conduit, and run the wire through that, then run the wire near where the brake lines are (not sure if/how this would work on your car) then you can drill a hole going into the trunk... Your call, but I like the way I'm currently doing it best. But again, that's just me and I'm running 1/0awg...

Find a grommet in your firewall where there are already wires coming from your engine bay into the interior (probably come out in the driver or passenger footwell).
Depending on the size of the grommet and the amount of wires coming through, you may need to enlarge the hole.
Then just pop off the door sills and run the cable under there.(pretty easy to do on most cars)
Take out your backseat, and find a way to run it into the trunk from there.

...or you could just ask the guys in the 2nd gen tl section, and see where they ran theirs

Update: just searched for you
apparently a couple people have ran theirs through a grommet up and to the left of the brake pedal
