i was wondering if the rockford fosgate 500s amp is any good?
im thinking of geting it on ebay. im probably gona get two 12s with it.

 

i had the 590 and i fried it already....kickers had too much of a lower ohms....i bridged both speakers for more power well now my dummy ass needs a new amp

 

Rockford= crap. Go with some one else man.

 

You're going to hear both positives & negatives about Fosgate, depending on who you ask. I've used their amps & processors for over 10 years & have had absolutely no complaints. Their speakers I'm not too fond of & their subs are average at best (depending on what you're looking for...I'm talking purely SQ here). I've won a world title in USAC using Rockford ('97 0-100 World Champ), so they've worked fine for me.

 

I used the rockford 401s on 2 10" w6'sv2...in my old 01 civic...it worked great
