ok lately i've been having a lot of problems with my amp...it is a hifonics 500 watt brutus powering a 12 inch RE sub..i know the amp's not blown because it works (very rarely)...recently it's just been turning off on it's own and not working at all...and sometimes after driving for a bit it turns back on and starts working..but not for long. it seems as if the power light keeps flickering when it comes back on, and then eventually just dies out. does anybody know how i can fix this?

 

Why on earth would you say you know it's not blown? It could be...

Hifonics have a lot of protection modes. Have you read the manual?

It needs some basic troubleshooting, and I think you may want to pay for it...

 

either you have a shitty install and the power or ground is not good, or it's internal
