How do I reset my amp? The protection led stays lit and the owners manual says to "reset the amp." Also, are there ne ways that I can check to see if my amp is faulty or broke? Thanks!

Take the power and ground off of it then touch the power and ground terminals on the amp together you will get a spark but don't worry all your doing is discharging the caps in the amp then reconnect the power and ground again and see what happens. if it is still in protection you have a shorted speaker somewhere or a bad amp

 

werd, or if the spark scares you the internal caps should discharge by themsleves but it may take a while.. so just man up and do it !
