Replacing the FOB today just one question

Hello everybody I just bought my 99 Acura TL a few weeks back and it only came with one key and no keyless entry fob literally the one let to the door so today I plan to replace the fob and buy an extra spare key just in case. My question is this I have bought oem replacement fobs that come with programming instructions before... But I found a used OEM ACURA TL fob on ebay in working condition for half the price is it possible to buy it and reprogram it for my vehicle? If so I'd love to know cause it would save me someone's anyways thank you for your help

I have a similar issue with my 97 TL. I have an OEM fob that I bought from keyfobsales. I have instructions and have tried once but I it may be a battery issue. Ill let you know by Friday when I have time to buy new batteries and try again.

I can do it on my 00 civic. Look up your car and year and then key fob relearn. Something along those lines. It should just be a few button combos on the key fob while in the car or holding a key fob that works with the car now so it can copy it. Some keys have to be taken to a dealer because it has a chip in side that has to have a number put in it to match the imoblizer.
