TL: Replacement Factory Amp
Replacement Factory Amp
Hi,
My sub was making a weird popping/clicking noise so I went to look around and I think my Factory Bose Sub Amp is dead. I tested the sub with a 9v battery and it thumps, tried hooking up a regular car speaker to the sub leads and got no sound. Took out the back seat and unplugged the amp, it's getting voltage and signal to turn on, clicks when the radio is turned on. No voltage on the output side.
So, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what I can replace it with. I'm hoping to keep everything stock, but the stock amps are over $100 from junk yards/eBay. Thanks for your help.
