Removing wood trim panels from console

This may be posted elsewhere but I can't find it.
How do I remove the two wood trim side panels from the console area.
Seems like I can maybe get in with a screwdriver and pry it off, but I dont want to break it.
Reason I'm asking is I want to get into the stereo and do some wiring stuff.

thanks

Open center console door. Starting at the end closest to the back seat, pull the trim piece a little bit away from the center console then pull back toward the back seat.

Anyone know of a better way of getting behind the radio without removing the entire center console part?

i usually take apart my dash once a week cus i either forget to do sumthin back there or add sumthin new.... but wha i usually do is remove the wood trim, and then unscrew the three screws holding the plastic siding and then BEND it from the middle towards the door of the car, this pops out the part that slips into the center console. sounds worse than it is. after the 10,000th time its not to bad....
