Remote Starting Issues

I've tapped into the blue wire with silver dots for my tach wire...had the alarm learn it...and the car starts fine...but when the RPMs drop the car just dies. Any ideas? Thanks.

Umm ... this is new ... Did you have the alarm learnt the rpm after the car idling for a while? I think the manual suggested that.

yeah, I had the alarm learn it too. Is the blue wire you used the one that all by itself on the shock tower? Blue with silver dots?

No. I used the wire under the hood. I ran it from to hood to the cabin. It's also blue. Did you check to see it it was a true rpm wire? Use a meter with frequency measure feature.
