remote starter with oem fob

Hi, I had done some searches and I just couldn't find exactly where and which system to buy. It will be great if someone can provide me a link.

This is for my wife's 03 TL-S, would like to have the remote starter installed but not with aftermarket fobs. I had once sold an used Pilot, and that car needs to hit the lock button 3 times then engine starts and remained locked.

Great system, funny thing is that used pilot went through our inspection and nobody in our dealership knew it, until i found out accidentally. Good thing I found out before the customer does.

Anyway, seems like there are a few people done that and I would like to get her one as Christmas gift. thanks again.

We used to install a system like that made by Panther. Unfortunately they went out of business. However from what I understand, many manufacturers offer a system with that feature. I'm sure a local shop will have a system that's able to do it. For example the 561T by Valet is capable of it.

Keep in mind that your range will only be as good as you get with the factory remote. A system that comes with keyfobs will have better range. It's nice to be able to start the vehicle across the parking lot or inside the house rather than a few feet from the vehicle. And you can get a system with the same functionality of the factory keyfobs. So there really isn't a reason to stick with the originals.

As someone who's had remote starts on my cars for the last 10 years, I also recommend the 2-way systems if you can afford it. It's nice to have confirmation that the vehicle started from the remote rather than having to look out the window to make sure it started.
