Remote Start Pro's

I know this isn't really audio/video but I need some input from some alarm pro's. I have a Compustar alarm and it works great. But living in the humid midwest I've noticed that when auto starting the car when it's hot out (above 80) & humid, it never starts on the first try. After the system resets and attempts to start again, the car ALWAYS starts on the 2nd try. During cold starts the autostart starts the car on the 1st try all the time. Is there anything I can do to adjust the settings to give the fuel pump more fuel or something so that the car starts on the first try during hot starts? or is it more technical than that?

Thanks,

sounds like you need a tune up. i havent installed any compustars. it could be the unit, but not likely. do you know what kinda bypass module did you or whoever installed it use?

remote starters have a timer that states how long the car should try to turn the engine. You'll probably want to bring it back to the shop and have them adjust the timer so that it works the way you want it. If it's not starting on the first try, you might need to increase the time so it has a better chance of turning over. The car is currently tuned to start for cold starts. Apparently your environment is too varied, causing the car's starting behavior to be different in each situation. But shouldn't the engine be easier to start when it's warmer?

Could there be an underlying problem like the fuel filter or a main relay?
