The remote.....

The remote steering wheel controls turn the channels when I try to turn up the volume! At first it didn't happen very often, but now it common. It REALLY pisses me off. Just when you want to turn up somthing you really want to hear, IT TURNS THE @#*&%!& CHANNEL!! Ok I had to vent......But really, has anyone had this problem? Heard of a fix? It really is driving me mad.
(just like the seatbelt hooking on the seat lift lever, but thats another issue)

Yea..

yea i have had those same problems.. the remote doesnt do it that much , maybe once a week - but its annoying when i have dave chapelle in there and it's one track thats 59 mins long. i never found a way to stop it, but im thinking a bad connection in the wiring, but i never felt like pulling it all apart

I've also had problems

I've had the same problem, and it seems on mine, that it only happens when I have the steering wheel turned to one spot (on mine it's about when I have it turned to the left about 70 degrees or so - almost where the top of the steering wheel is straight left)

I am not sure if there are wires directly ran, or if it has some sort of brushes that use contact points between the steering wheel and the steering column. If there are, there could be some problem with it I'm thinking.

Ive heard you can take the control off and pull it apart and clean the switch contacts with alcohol.

If that dosent work, I have one for sale.
