Reconing Subs?

I'm new to this subject...anyone got any info on this shit? Like.. how its done?? is it worth it? difference in sound?

I want to get my JL 15w6's reconed and sell them later on. The fuckin rubber on those JL's are cheap as shit because they kinda old...suggestions?

JL would do the reconing. I guess it would be a "restored" sub. Sound quality difference? I guess the same as a reconditioned product. If your just wanting to recon & sell then forget it, but if your planning on using it for a while longer then it might be worth it. Just remember the freight will kill you since they are heavy which will require you to crate them so they dont get dammaged.

Id say $100-120 with freight for another 2-3years of use would be worth it.
