Recommended sub amps that aren't too expensive?
What sub amps do you guys recommend that won't cost me too much? I notice many of you have JL and Rockford Fosgate amps, but I'd like to find something a bit cheaper if possible. Are JBL amps any good? I'm considering two 12s, probably in a sealed box; either Infinity Perfects, 12W6s, or 12W6v2s, all depending on the prices I find. I won't be doing the install myself obviously, but want to have an idea of what's going on so the installer won't rip my ass off. Would the JBL 1200 work fine with any of the speaker setups mentioned. I want something that I won't have to worry about blowing the amps or subs. Also, where can I find good prices on the recommended equipment? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

www.woofersetc.com this guy usually has pretty good prices and i have a couple friends that did business with him and they say it is pretty good... you might want to look there if you are just looking for prices... good luck and the 12w6v2 are sick but quit expensive.....

I have a jbl 1200.1. I had 2 10" Perfects that ran very well with that amp. The amp is pure power. Ive used it on several setups, and I'm pleased with the sq and performance of that amp. Another suggestion is to go to ampmanaudio.com, and look at the Revolution 1500.1. Class D, subsonic filter, and 1600watts.
