Recommendations for tweeters (2005 TSX)

I have Diamond S600 Hex Components and the tweeters have blown. I need to replace them that's hooked up to an old MB Quart amp that's pushing 100W RMS at 4ohms.

Thoughts?

if you've got the money, from what i've heard Rainbow has some of the best tweeters... They're expensive, but again from what i hear, they're the best...

How long have u had the component set, Diamond has a 3 yr warranty and they might replace them for free or fairly cheap

I used MB Quart components in my '04 TSX and the tweets were a great replacement for the factory grills. They popped off and the MB tweets wedged in the dash for a great fit, and they sound great too. The tweet levels can be customized with the x-overs supplied...if you're willing to purchase a new set of components and maybe move your Diamond to the rear doors.

how old were your set? did you have the fabric or metal versions?

The older diamond hex's were made by eton/LPG. I think the LPG 25NFA/26NA are supposed to be very similar to the ones that came w/ the original hex sets.

assuming you liked the way yours sounded.

You might want to do some research, as I can't remember off the top of my head if the hex tweets were 4ohm versions of the LPG's, or if they were 8ohm as well. Assuming you are still using the passive crossover, that might be important.

if you need a 4ohm tweet,
The seas 27TFFNC/G is pretty much the default for people that need a top quality tweet on a budget. Of course I have no idea how it'd work with the diamond passive crossovers, but might be worth a shot.
