factory cd player error
hi my cd player was full with all six cd's, and they were all burned cds, well my gf wanted to borrow one and when i ejected it, as soon as i pulled the cd out i went clicked to listen to a different cd and it popped up with the error code ER-E1, and i started reading on here, so i tore apart the whole stereo and removed all the other cd's. i put it all back together and everything is still showing the same, it shows i have all six cd's still in it when its empty, i was wondering if there was a way i could fix this myself.

Totally sucks.. It should have reset also because you removed it.. I always held the eject button down for a few seconds and held other buttons down to try and get rid of the error. Nothing consistently worked but it did eventually reset.

:Mine has been jammin too...but not in the good way!
I have had success with opening the (cd) door with a paperclip, the pushing the center of the innards up & holding while pushing load button. You can keep holding until you see LOAD. Then don't do anything until all actions stop.
After the above, sysstm functions normally...until next time!
Oh- I never load more that 1 cd at a time now
