recommend a cd changer

I'm in the market for a new cd changer , any suggestions?

I would second the 634. But, if playing MP3's is not important, look at the 1234. 12 discs instead of 6.

I agree with the previous suggestions. You will be very happy with the Alpine CHA S634. Not only can you play CDR, but you can play CDRW as well. The bonus is that you can also play mp3's. 160+ songs per CD. I love it.

If you don't need to play MP3's, then the 630 is the way to go. It cost less than the 634, otherwise go with the 634.

With the Alpine CHA-S634, do you need to get an adaptor to read the ID3 tags from the MP3 files, using the OEM head unit?

Unfortunately, you do not. The head unit only displays track number and disc number no text.
