RE comps-How good are they?
Hey guys, I'm looking for some good comps for my car and I was looking at the RE re coimps and the xxx comps. How are these comps in terms of sound quality? I haven't heard them yet but they are priced great and I have heard great things about RE in general.
I originally started looking at MB Quart PCE216's for my comps, heard them at tweeter and really liked the sound, but I found some re comps at a great price and wanted to see if they were comperable.
Also, will these easily mount to our doors during installation? I've heard they can be a handful to install. thx

Well, the guy with the XXX's only has the mids, one has a broken basket n he wants $170 plus shipping so idk If I'm gunna go for those cuz I wanna buy a complete package. The other guy has a set of RE re comps and I think they come with full comp kiut, tweeter, xover, and mids, and he said $130 + shipping but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. They are used, so if I can find them for a good price new, I might do that. But I wasn't sure of their sound and clarity.

Hm... they're good out of the box, but I woludn't buy any speaker from the guy with the broken basket...

Ok I found another set of RE re comps, full set, he wants 120 shipped. He has references, and does same day or next day shipping. Got back to me right away after I pmed him, sounds like a good buy. You guys think I should jump on it? Also, if I get these, what amp do you guys reccomend and how much is that gunna cost?
