RCA's

I am thinking about using Monster Cable RCA's for in my car. They come in 4(13.12ft.) and 6m(19.68ft). I would rather not take out a seat and run the RCA's strait down the center. Would the 13ft cables be long enough to go back to the wheel well at least?

Have any of you had and noise problems doing it this way? Or could you suggest which side to run the power down and which side to run the RCA's down?

One more thing I am unsure which cables I Should go with.

or 300 MkII

Any thoughts?

Are you going to leave the cable exposed?

No I would be running the wire under the carpet and under the back seats then into the wheel well area. Then the amps will be mounted on a board and the rca's will go through that.

Honestly you are just paying for the name with those Monster cables... But its not my money Anyway as long as you run your RCAs and your Power cables seperatly (and make sure you have GOOD grounds), you should have no noise problems...

well you dont need to remove the seats to run those cables.

i would recomend you go power down one saide, signal down the other. and the monster RCA's rock. get the mid level ones, the higest level is just a little wacko.

According to monster the difference is:
I400MKII is/has :
Bandwidth Balanced, MicroFiber Dielectrics, 2 Multiple-Gauge Time Correct Windings

Is that worth paying the extra $?

Also about the lengths, What would be long enough to get tto the trunk?

Thanks

you may hear a LITTLE difference with monster cable. Personally, some that I've heard sound worse than just some normal non-cheap rca's.

Look at the Micro XLN series from Monster. Nice set, balanced design, and SMALL!

The other stuff is a waste of money paying for all that extra junk. Who knows what actual values of the wire it changes. You may end up with such a capacitive $100 set of wires that you'd be better off with a set of $5 cheapies.

I'm not sure that I understand why these wires may not be so good compared to the mobile seies or "cheaper other brands" These home wires have shielding, solid cores, "time correcting windings", etc... Why would these not be good for auto use?
