I have MTX amp and Sub...8000 series so the amp pulls 300 RMS (bridged) to a single 10 inch sub in a sealed box...

The stuff is decent..but I paid Circuit City cost for them :-)
I used Monster Cable stuff before and was probably going to use them again....I just want to know what RCA cable series to get....prices for from 20 to 200 bucks for cables...

thanks

if the cl sound sytem is set up anything like the tl's they you realy dont need loc (line out coverters..) you should be able to grab the signal after it comes out of the headunit before it hits the amps and just splice into it and run your rca's off of that... you can either just buy rca ends an solder them on or you can cut the ends off your rca cables and solder them to the wires form the stock wiring harness.. but this is only try if the cl is designed kindof like the tls... also as far as rca's i guess it depends on how much you want to spend.. me i have always used streetwirez...but you can also use monster cable, stinger, rockford fosgate...etc...

if you splice like you are saying...isnt there going to be a lot of loss at that point??

It would be a lousy connection there is my opinion

so how do you intend to wire the loc up.. i mean you are going to have to splice the wire somewhere... or you can get one of these contraptions.. http://www.linkmeup.com/ (check out the pd4)

i agree with shaw but no need for the pd4. just get the cable link harness. i purchased both but ended up returning the pd4 cuz i had an amp that could jack up the signal quite a bit for my needs.
