I'm getting my system put into the new TL this week, wondering if I should expect any bad rattling though. I had tremendous rattling in my old car, Maxima, hoping Acuras aren't quite as bad.

Having Boston Acoustics component speakers along with Alpine type-R sub (just 1 ten inch) put back in, btw. Listening to stock Bose the past 3 weeks has been absolutely killing me!!

So any tips on what rattles to expect and whats been done about them would be helpful. Thanks!

 

The main problem is the rear deck. You will need to dynamat or do what I did. Line the edges of the rear deck with foam weather stripping and place some foam under the two styrofoam blocks (you'll notice them when you slide the deck out).
