Question Rattles with the Metra Kit

Hi all -

I am getting a bit of a rattle around the edges of my Metra Kit where it touches the dash. Anyone else have a similar problem, or have any ideas for a good fix ? I was having an issue with where the edges of the HeadUnit touch the edges of the Metra as well, but I was able to fix this by removing the faceplate then the faceplate trim and wrapping the edges of the faceplate trim with some black electrical tape (this I could do without touching the dash at all). However, I can't do a similiar fix with this problem, without pulling the entire Metra Kit from the dash, which I would VERY much like to avoid......

The current rattles are still driving me batty though. :banghead:

Here is a pic where I *think* the problem is coming from......any ideas ?

Thanks !

is it (and the radio) completly secured tight? the only thing i can think of is its not because its moving enough to rub and make noise. mine is silent as can be. you could take it out (yea i know you dont want to) and slightly sand the edges with a fine (400 grit) sand paper. oh and i cant tell (the picture is to far away) did you sand the face of the kit also? if not you should
