I posted a few months ago about my radio reception being terrible but it has since gotten a little bit better. However, whenever I use my rear window de-fogger it completely knocks out the radio reception . The second I hit the button the radio reception goes real staticky and even if the de-fogger is left on for a few minutes it does not get any better.

I'm thinking maybe since the antenna is in the rear window something is screwy between that and the defrost lines, so maybe the rear window needs to be replaced or something

Does anyone else have this problem?

 

Do you have window tint on the rear window?

 

No tint, or hard wired cell phone that would cause any interference. I'm going to take it by the dealer but I thought maybe someone might have some insight on here first to give me an idea of whether it might be the head unit or the rear window itself

 

I was thinking maybe they cut one of your connections with razor balde when putting the tint on.. Sounds like a dealer issue..
