Radio static?

Radio static?
I tired to search for radio reception but it gave me something like Search Words Are Too Confusing. Something to that effect. I thought to myself, "since when does the search feature talk back?"
I have noticed here lately that my radio is starting to lose reception? It gets static on radio stations that were once super clear. My speakers are not busted and everything still works correctly. I can turn on the CD player and the sound is clear and loud like it was when the car was new.
The only thing I can think of is wires that have some kind of buildup on them causing a less than good connection? Any connections I need to check out? Anyone else ever had this? It's not bad, I can still listen to the radio. It's just slowly getting worse. Static is building fast enough for me to notice.
Thanks to anyone that can help!

My 2003 TL-P reception has sucked since day 1. Bought it as a certified used Acura and had them double check the antenna connection and they said it is fine. The reception pales in comparison to that of my old 1994 accord, likely due to the antenna in the rear window vs a mast antenna.

If you have static on the radio with the defroster on- the rear glass is bad and the defroster causes a electromagnetic field to form in that area causing all the static.
If this happens all the time, antenna cable is bad = common problem, especially on 3.2CLs.

Mine happen at all the time when driving closer to electrical towers (used not to) and not nessessary with defroster on or off. But how bad is to replace the antenna cable?
