Does anyone else's stock headunit not shut off right away when the ignition is shut off and the key is removed. Sometimes it takes up to ten seconds before it shuts off.

This is not normal. Mine shuts off right away; every time.

Does this happen to anyone else? How do I fix this? The freakin car is four months old!

 

The best way to fix the problem is to have your dealership install a new radio for you. It could also be a wiring or electrical problem. So you really need to talk to your dealership about the problem. They should fix the problem under warranty.

They replaced the cig ligher plug under warranty. The problem went away. They said there was a bulletin about this.
