My battery cable was loose and came out. Now my radio is asking for a code?

anyone know what to do? Its not working

 

If you're sure you have the correct code, for some reason you must take out the antenna from the back of the radio and then input the code. See the thread below for step-by-step instructions.

Fixed - Radio refuses to take radio code

 

before u do that, do u even have a radio code? didnt tell us if u tried to enter.
if u dont have a radio code. it the car in the ON position press and hold 1 and 6 youll get two codes. write them down along with the vin and then call up an acura dealership and they should give u the code. and its been covered before, just search.

 

And if you know these bits of info:
- registered phone number
- registered zip code

You can just use Acura's Radio Code Retrieval website.

If you validate the above, you'll then get to see what your codes are, like the one I got from below. You can see that there was two codes listed for me:

 

so what happens when your not the first owner of the car and u have to put down a registered phone number

 

I'm the second owner of my TL. That phone number that 01tl4tl always posts I think is the "new owner" registration or something. So yeah people have to go through that before they can use the automatic retrieval site.
