Im getting ready to put in my system, the only things i need are a head unit and the plate for around it. I went to 2 stores and they told me that no one made the plates for around the head unit...its called a face plate right? idk. but if somone could point me in the right direction id appreciate it thx.

most people that work in the stereo shops don't know shit.
its called a metra kit (metra is the company), and metra just didn't include the cl/tl kit in the brochure they send to the shops because it hadn't come out yet. ask the shop to order metra kit #99-7868.
if they call their metra dealer and ask for it they can get it.
faceplate would be the front part of the stereo itself, the part that flips down to put in cds.

I hate it when the workers act like they know everything and then give you some look like your stupid when you ask something, and then it turns out you are exactly right! It happens to me all the time especially b/c I am only 16.

it's true stereo shop people don't know much about products. I used to work at one and i couldn't give a shit about what was out for what cars. We used to look it up. It's like history, who gives a fuck there are a million sources for the answers, just ask to look it up.
