Questions about capacitors and sound deadening material

hey guys - I am wanting to install my 12" Solobaric soon and need some advice. I would like to know where in my trunk I need to add some sound deadening material. I have a 97 TL, so I have the cardboard type cover over the spare tire. Should I add material to the underside of this cover and/or should I add material to the actual trunk below the tire? Also, should I add material to the sides of the trunk and to the underside of the deck lid? Lastly, would it be best to add this material to the inside of the speaker box, or just use a poly-fill type material instead?

Next, I have a 4 guage Phoenix Gold power wire run from my battery to power the amp. Since I have no other amps in use right now, do I need to worry about adding a capacitor for the amp or should the 4 gauge wire provide enough juice to the amp? It is a Phoenix Gold ZX400ti.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

a cap would be a was in my opinion since you really are not drawing that much power.. as for the dynamat i would layer the whole trunk and trunk lid..
