!! Question on replacing the BOSE Subwoofer !!
I believe the BOSE subwoofer on the TL-S is 6 1/2". Is there a way to just remove that 6 1/2" sub and put an 8" in the same place (rear deck) without having to really do any modifications to get it in?? Has anyone done this? Any help would be appreciated.....

i thought the sub was a 9 incher, but no difference.
if you look at the sub, the magnet is inverted (i believe that is waht you call it) unlike conventional subs that have the magnets underneath the cone. this saves a lot of space and prevents it from hitting the rods.
the closest thing to this design that i know of is www.illusionaudio.com . they have a good rep in the industry so you can't go wrong.
