i have a 2000 acura tl..i've read the DIY threads and they've been unsuccessfull for me..now what do i splice into for my rca cables to work? i dont wana payy $$..i know how to do it all. Any suggestions?

 

i am not familiar with the 2nd gen TL.
Does it have a factory sub?

if yes, remove it and use a LOC(line out converter) to tap into the factory subs positive and neg wires.

this is how we do it for the 3rd gens...not sure if its the same.

 

Yeaa, factory sub, factory everything, i just added a 2 12's but my only issue was getting some sounds out of them. The DIY threads didnt help too much.

does the diy ask for LOC?
wire up the LOC to the stock subs location.

 

no it doesnt..it said some puke brown shield?
