michep, that ground is indeed the bar under the rear seat. My amp is mounted on the back of the rear seat as you can see in my pictures.
Originally I had the ground wire loop down under the back seat and then back up into the trunk to get to the ground. I had to do this so that I would be able to put the seat down. I found that I was actually able to make the ground wire a tiny bit shorter at this location. It's maybe about 2 feet long.

Travis, you ever get around to looking at the specs page for that sub? Also, what do you think about my screw placement as outlined on the previous page?

Just an update...
I moved the balun to behind the trunk liner, fits great. The JL unit and remote delay boxes are still under the rear seat, but they are no longer noticable when the seat is on.
I am having trouble securing my subwoofer enclosure. Can anybody tell (or show) me where they put screws? I put one in the bottom and one on the flat part of the back toward the front of the car, but I am still getting lots of play (about an inch) in it.
If anybody can help out with getting this sub enclosure secured in there that'd be awesome.
