Well, its like a dream come true, to be able to watch DVDs and play PS2 games on my NAVI screen. But my dreams are starting to become a reality. With the help of SteveStMS. The Playstation2 fits PERFECTLY in the TL, just slide it behind the back seat, and since the CD tray slides out like a CD-ROM drive, it really makes things more convenient than the PS1. Perfect fit. Now let's see if we can get a IR remote repeater or relocate the receiver up front for DVD movie playing.

As for the video. There is a chance the PS2 will connect directly to the navigation display, without the need for my decoder. I'll need to make up a cable harness for testing this, but first I've got a few orders to fill :-} - thanks to all!

Of course you will still want a A/B switch to flip between navigation and video. Or I could build a deluxe A/B switcher that would automatically turn the navigation screen to video every time the PS2 was turned ON.

 

Hey how did you get a PS2?! I want one! LOL. Looks nice man. That's where I have my old Playstation 1. I take it you used one of those power converters?

 

Drive safe. You don't wanna be doing SSX type moves with your TL.

 

man good idea. I'm gonna do that with my ps2, when I get my stuff put in and get my tl fixed.
