Problem w/Alpine 6-disc changer
Problem w/Alpine 6-disc changer
About every 5th time I start my car, I get "EEE" when trying to play my 6-disc changer and it won't play. Any thoughts on why this is occuring and what I can do to prevent it.
When it happens sometimes I'll just play the tape player or the original CD player, and sometimes I'll restart the car, and this usually clears it up until the next time it happens. Thanks.

a few people have that problem with the 99's and alpine changers. i used the head unit to turn on the changer, rather than the ignition. so whenever i have that problem, i turn the stereo off, and on and it works again

sorry. i tapped into the factory amp in the back, and jumped it over to the changer remote turn on wire.
i used that turn on for a few other things, so i needed to use a relay - not sure if youll need that
