I finished up on the non-navi to navi conversion today, and while testing it out, the screen turned off. I took the keys out of accessory, and then turned the accessories on.
The navi screen turned back on, and the odometer began to flicker on and off. I also noticed that the navi screen has a little bit of flickering at the bottom of the screen.

Anyone know what could be the culprit?

 

what did you use for a power source??? seems like you have a loose connection somewhere or it is too much draw on your line.

 

turned out to be a weak battery.


i took the car out today for a spin, and my coordinates dont move. the red arrow shows which direction i travel in, but i'm always in the same spot.

which wire(s) controls the traveling movement?

 

anyone have a clue about the icon not moving while im driving???

 

sounds like the compass is working but not the GPS receiver?
