Have a CDA-7998 by Alpine, and when I start the car, so often I need to go back into the Time Correction and adjust the Bass Focus. The Parameter change a lot.

Anyone know what could cause the settings to re-adjust themselves ?

Could it be a power short when starting ? Power Drain Maybe ?

 

Most likely your constant isnt connection properly... I think its a yellow wire. Constants hold memory and such

 

I'll have to take a look at that. But I'm not positive that'll be it since all the station presets stay, just the feature for Time Correction.

 

Mine does something similar, if I listen to XM sometimes I will come back to my CD and it has forgotten where I put the MX setting on the CD.

 

Hmm, come to think of it Gilgamesh, mine started about the time I installed the XM not long ago
